Just like the imported hops and yeast they expertly craft together under the Mauritian sky – Isabelle and Claude are themselves an inimitable blend, bringing with them an innovative effervescence and a sharp eye for the exceptional.
Claude Thiery has been perfecting the art of brewing for almost 40 years.
After working in both industrial and artisanal breweries, he created an innovative microbrewery – one of the first fully organic breweries in France using low-temperature and isobaric beer fermentation.
Today, Claude acts as our brewery consultant and has served as a judge in several of the biggest beer competitions – including CGA, Lyon International Competition, and Amphore.
Isabelle Thiery has been working in the brewery industry for a little over 30 years – since 1991. She is the Director of Brew3A, a laboratory specialized in beer analysis, and is also a beer sommelier certified by Dormens.
All of their hard-won experience has been distilled into our humble offering of KapIO Craft Beers. While our line-up is small, our taste profiles pack a serious punch…
